Shana Shines

Yes, I'm still here! I know it's been awhile! I'm sure you've missed me! Life has been crazy with lots of twists, turns and some traveling!

I want to thank Christine for the new logo idea - Shana Shines! She was spot on with that! Even more so lately as my inner beauty has started shining through as I let my walls down and learn a new way of life...on my terms!

I won't lie, it's been a scary road. Traveling into the unknown future is not something for the weak to venture into. I definitely thought I was weak and have been tested many times along on the way. Turns out this girl is stronger than she gives herself credit for and I am so proud of myself! I had an amazing cheer squad backing me up. My family, of course, always supports me, feeds my ego and loves me unconditionally. A few select friends who really stepped up and kept me accountable along the way. My local "church" - you know who you are. And I can't forget Luna who makes sure I get out of bed every morning! I will tell you a secret though - she likes to go back to bed after her first trip outside in the morning. We made a nasty daily habit of this at one point but we're learning new ways. Often against her will with a lot of yelling at me but I know she loves me no matter what. A girls best friend through and through.

I have so many untold stories to share since my hiatus and will get back in the habit of rambling them off to you more consistently. Read them if you wish. Share them if they speak to your heart. Just remember I'm only human and am not trying to change the world, become a famous writer or even be known outside of my community. This is just a little source of happiness for me...and maybe for some of you.
